Spring Art Market 2022 at The Dennos Museum Center
in Traverse City, Michigan

The Dennos Museum Center in beautiful Traverse City is pleased to announce a new artist event this May.  The Spring Art Market will be a one day juried art fair held indoors in our Sculpture Court May 14th before the summer art fair season begins.   The market will collect table fees and artists will handle their own sales which is a new format for the DMC.  It is the museum’s hope to host a Spring Art Market annually that follows a theme related to our spring exhibitions.  This year, we are focusing on Nathalie Miebach’s exhibition, “Stay Healthy and Strong,” currently on display in the main court of the museum where the market will be set-up.  The theme, “Color and Pattern,” is inspired by her use of playful colors and intricate patterns when interpreting data for her sculptural works.  Artists are asked to consider their use of color, color combinations and patterns when submitting photos for their applications.  Artist participation in the theme is optional and will not determine whether or not they are juried into the show.  Special museum offerings will be planned into the day making this a fun event for all ages.  Admission is free.

Artist's interested in exploring "Color and Pattern" can view Nathalie Miebach's work for inspiration here:  https://nathaliemiebach.com/portfolio.html
